August 3, 2013--FOOTBALL IS ALMOST HERE!
I'm excited--the third of August and FOOTBALL is eminently near! Looking forward to Friday night's game--Patriots @ the Eagles....we will be cheering for the PATS!!! GO PATS! Hmmm....guess I will have to roll out the Superbowl Recipe Book. I saw some of those neat little bread rounds--they have less calories than a bun and think they might be good for a quick bite.
Will probably cook some bacon and have turkey and ham on hand combined with a little romaine and tomatoes and a garlic mayonnaise and then those dips!!! Ummmm, will let you know later which one we decided on....and as I promised, the following post contains those delicious little sandwich cookies...so easy to make and so good!

Hi Scarlett! You're talkin football-now you're talking MY language-espeically if you're rooting for the PATS! That's our home team and you KNOW we root for the home team here in New England.
I didn't know you had a blog until Linda mentioned it.....I'm so glad she did! You KNOW I love recipes. :)
I'll be cheerin' with ya Friday night-let's shake those pompoms-all I hope is I don't dislocate a hip........eesh........
